Case Histories:The following case histories are just two examples of past work done by Omega Results.Case History #1: Piller Engineering (UK) Ltd A distribution and service company for UPS equipment, buying predominantly from Germany. The company had a Tetra 2000 dos accounting system and was changing to Exchequer Enterprise Client Server windows system. Omega Results was responsible for ensuring that data transfer, training and documentation went smoothly. The company decided to run the two systems in parallel for 2 months, to ensure that no procedures were overlooked; this meant double-input plus checking and training with only one additional person. The management accounts were normally produced monthly and took a full two days. With the software tools provided, all the layouts required by the company, including reports and data, were transferred from the old ledgers into the new, and the stock and WIP were set up. Training was completed for all accounts staff, stock and order personnel. The process took just three months and the accounts went out on time. "The icing on the cake" was producing the accounts and budget formats in Excel, linking it to Enterprise and running the Management Accounts in just under 10 minutes. See what Piller Engineering said about us here Case History #2: Cotswold Outdoor Ltd Omega Results were hired to assist with the production of the year end accounts and to achieve a smooth audit. One major concern was the level of overdue debts, which we were asked to tackle as well. This was a very interesting exercise as it involved chasing down dozens of MOD personnel who had transferred abroad to Cyprus, Belize and Northern Ireland (to name a few), as well as pursuing regular customers, resolving queries, and collecting the debts, it also involved pursuing some orders which may have gone elsewhere.
